I’m like 8 levels away from a 50. I deleveled like 6 levels : O Give me your gamertag so we can team up and get 50s!!!

Yeah, i don’t really think I have a chance to reach semi-final brackets lol! I only play around 2 hours a week. To reach semi’s you need HELLAVA lot more practice. I have just enough raw skill to pwn the online noobs( That is if they don’t have teamwork : | )

Other ECs I have :

-Orchestra, BPA, French National Honor Society (VP! running for prez next year), NHS, Joining StuCo next year, and I draw when I get any sort of inspiration.

My GT is ApathetiX. I wont be playing Halo or XBox in general till after my finals end in June. I probably suck hardcore now though since I haven’t played since January.

After checking ur bungie.net profile, I’d say not to put it, ur stats aren’t superb enough to offset the fact that its a video game lol. unless ur on a team that goes to tournaments and wins.

btw, GT: RSX WHEEEEEE
tho I’ve been playing Tiger Woods lately, so don’t expect to see me on Halo.

I still say write about it. You don’t have to be superb at something in order to be passionate about it. Besides, how many other people are going to write their essays about competitively playing Halo?

Thats true lan, I doubt anyone would because they all probably fear it would gauruntee rejections!

Oh I know my stats are pretty bad but thats cause I’ve been using it since H3 came out. I had to learn the game before becoming good at it ya know : )

Check out my fileshare. If my shot is on, I think i’m unstoppable…almost hehehe

I wrote a few paragraphs about my experiences playing WoW (in the additional info. section) and I got waitlisted at Bowdoin. My ECs were lacking and my GPA freshman-junior year was mediocre (though I’ve gotten As and A+s all senior year, so that may be why…)

So, what I’m trying to say is that even at selective colleges/universities, there’s no inherent stigma against writing about video games as long as you’re able to defend and support your reason for doing so.

I haven’t found out about Bowdoin yet (keeping my fingers crossed), but if I get in, then I’ll be able to joke around about WoW (a game I now despise) getting me into one of the most selective LACs out there.

What you have to say about your playing is the important thing. How often do you compete? How are you doing in state/national/international rankings? How does your commitment to this “sport” reflect your ability to focus on a goal?

Think about how you would describe your life if you were a ranking chess player, and you will probably have found the right approach for your reference to this EC.
