No word limit...?

Harvard's optional essay does not have a word limit, and therefore, I wrote a 900 word essay.

It is not quite a full three pages when double-spaced and in 12 font, but I am just wary that it is too long. I really like it, and I am wondering if this will actually annoy them. I kind of figured that since they only read this and one 500 word common app essay as far as essays from the student go, this is not that bad, right?

And they set no word limit, so I read that as "no word limit".
But then again, I do not speak the superior language of Harvard admissions fluently, so I cannot be sure.

Obviously I am nervous, or just in denial...

Any opinions? All good, or big trouble?
