lol- they would probably take more kids from private schools because they know they can afford it.

Man, NYU was my #1 and it seems like they already picked their students. I live in the Midwest so I have the hope of distance on my side. Yet my friend from NC got her acceptance 2-3 weeks ago. I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but man....I think I'm screwed.

^I'm from NC and I haven't received my decisions yet. Pretty sure I'm rejected considering that I applied to stern.

I'm from NC too and I haven't heard. though i'm in the same boat as another on here, got into GWU, which i am very happy about. i just want to hear something from nyu. doesn't it feel a little bit like they just forgot about us? haha. just a few more days at most i guess...

ughhh I just got the mail and STILL nothing from them. This is getting really annoying.

It seems like all the "likely" letters and the acceptances were sent out 2-3 weeks ago. I haven't heard of anyone who was informed of rejection who was a domestic student yet. Just from the pattern of the forums, it seems like waitlisters and rejectees are mailed last. I don't want to believe this since nyu is my #1, but man....the trend is there. Sorry if I'm being negative. I do want to believe that there are still acceptance letters in the mail, but there seems to be so many ppl. already accepted, do they still have spots left?

No, I agree with you Francisco. I think too many people have already been accepted, how many more could they have in that batch? There are probably only like 5-10 acceptances, the rest are rejections. Maybe I'm being too negative as well, but whatever. I just want to get my letter and move on. It's the last school I'm waiting on, my number 1 also. It's disappointing but at this point I don't even care anymore.

@ fran and ob

thanks. my friends make fun of me for sitting in classes/Bobst/lounges around campus and hitting refresh on this forum, wanting to help everyone. they're starting to call me Holden, re: catcher in the rye. :P

got my letter today. rejected. booooo

Waitlisted to CAS. Not going to lie but I am pretty ticked off :(
I dont know what I am going to do.

S was rejected, oh well

rejected. moving on...

So it is true, the rest are all rejections then?

I think its waitlists and rejections. Cause I just got my waitlist today.

Seriously, their system is completely crapoloozeled

are the rest of the letters really rejections? i still have yet to receive my letter. what were all of your stats, those of you who got rejected or waitlisted from CAS?
