I am currently a rising Senior and have had my eye on Colby for about 3 months now. It became even more attractive when I noticed that Colby doesn't require the Non-Custodial Parent form on the CSS Profile application. I did notice however that they can request the info later in the application process.

My question is: Did they request info in your case? and how often do they request it?

Because the CSS Profile form asks a handful of questions about non-custodial parents, the Non-Custodial Parent form is not initially required. It may be useful in determining your family contribution, however, and students are encouraged to send it with other materials if you feel it will be pertinent to our financial aid decision. Please feel free to contact the Colby admissions office if you have further questions admissions@colby.edu.
