Non-STEM EC's for MIT- chances/opinions?

I am strongly interested in STEM and it is my true passion, but I’m worried it won’t show up in my application because of the nature of my EC’s. For example, I’m in FBLA which technically isn’t STEM, but I’m in the financial math event. I’m in HOSA, but I’m in the biomedical debate event. Even so, do I have a chance of getting into a highly technical school like MIT without IBO/USAMO/ISED awards?

What’s your GPA and test scores because those will make or break your chances

So you’re saying those EC’s aren’t technical enough for a school like MIT?

My son is going to be a junior at MIT this fall. He didn’t have a single STEM EC, it was all music. Drumline, concert and jazz band, plays guitar and piano also. Composes and records music. You have both science and math in your ECs. You can note that in your application. I think my son demonstrated his passion for music and that helped with his admission.

S also accepted with no STEM activities, research, or summer programs. Didn’t even know what those math programs with all the letters were…likewise had never heard of an Oympiad. MIT is not looking for an entire class of of identical students,

Thank you for this reply. Sometimes I just get overwhelmed with how accomplished people are and need to remind myself not to lose hope
