Hi!
I’m a high school sophomore trying to plan my summer. I’m noticing that a lot of the prestigious programs are in the STEM fields, which I am not interested in because I am a bit more humanities inclined. My interests lie in economics, business (not looking for incubator programs though), social entrepreneurship, and international relations.
- What are some prestigious and rigorous summer programs that will provide an enriching and valuable experience (and will also help with college)?
- What are some equally valuable activities I could pursue instead of a summer program which will be a good experience (and be good for college apps)?
A little background:
-3.8 GPA, rigorous courses
-Started my own business in the Gen Z social innovation space
-involved/lead clubs promoting activism/social impact
-Quiz Bowl nationally ranked
-competitive pianist: state champion
