I’m in my late 20s starting community college for an IT degree, how normal is it to see someone in my situation in a community college setting. My biggest fear is fitting in. I feel like I’m going to be perceived as the creepy guy.
There will be others in class older than you. Don’t worry about it!
No one will think you’re the creepy guy. Community colleges are known for their diversity of students, including age. Late 20s is nothing unusual.
Late 20s is actually the average age at many community colleges. At my cc, there were plenty of middle aged people and even some seniors! Trust me, you will NOT stand out.
