Non-transferable classes on UC Apps

hello everyone, i have a quick question about whether i should add in all my non-transferable classes that i took in the past into the uc application. i know for sure that we have to add it in to the uc TAG.
as for the california student state id, is it required to have it? thanks!

Your non-transferable courses shouldn’t be included. The UC’s couldn’t care less about those.

As for your CSSID, it’s optional.

Don’t listen to Karma, input ALL of your classes.

Why would you do that? Where in the application does it say to input your non-transferable courses?

im getting two different answers from my friends too

Think about it. Your unit count and GPA are determined by your transferable courses. And you need 60 transferable units to be able to transfer.

Why would you need to input non-transferable courses? They’re irrelevant to the UC application process.

The beginning of the UC app dictates to input ALL of your courses

i think it’s only transferable classes. i went to the review page, it says “history of your transferable credits”

“Please report all grades received for all courses you enrolled in, including withdrawals, incompletes and courses you may have repeated at a later date”

err >< im lost. some of my friends are putting them in, and some aren’t

I have always been told to input all courses, what can it hurt?

Transfer2Best quoted the application. Read the application. Follow the directions.

I second CalBerk and Transfer2Best on this one. You must input everything.

Where though? For example, if you took a math course that wasn’t transferable, where are you going to input it? It’s not even listed on the selection.

@Karma

You need to manually input it at the bottom of the application

Huh. Well I guess I better send them another email informing them of the change…

Thanks for the heads up transfer2best

@Transfer2Best,

Do you see what I mean? If you read the directions, it’s as plain as day. I don’t understand how you can even ask this. Maybe this is mean, and if so, I really apologize, but I still don’t understand how this application is THIS hard for people. If you just slow down, read everything, it’s simple.

@ CalBerks

I fully understand exactly what you are saying, believe me. But some people are severely anxious about the whole transfer process and overlook information… I dont blame them. You are a pretty smart person, which is why I am looking out for you by saying the comments you make dont reflect your intellect. Having self control really defines someones intellectual maturity. Everyone on here needs help no matter what the question is. I may have a question for Karma in which he knows the answer to but I don’t. Everyone has flaws, but at the same time… we all have various strengths.
