How far is North Campus, where frosh live, from where most of our classes will be/where the main campus is? Also, any current Cornell student, do you know if there is a running club?

North Campus is a 15 min brisk walk to the Hotel School - but it's pretty level. (Not climbing up Libe Slope like from West Campus Dorms.)

I'm an alumni, my son was in the Running Club last year. I don't know how active it is this year. The web Page doesn't seem to be updated recently.

Enjoy your time at Cornell

thanks so much that was really helpful!

Buses run from North Campus every 10 minutes, and it's not even far to walk.

richcas: i hate to make such a petty correction, but i'm anal about this one-
alumni: male/neutral plural
alumnus: male/neutral singluar
alumnae: female plural
alumna: female singular

to the OP: north campus is right across a gorge from central campus. Probably up to a 10 minute walk to the closest buildings, and around 20 to the farthest. There is a bus every 10 minutes.

And yeah, my friend is in the running club...i hate running. :)

ohh really? does your friend like the running club? you can tell him that he'll have a fellow runner nxt yr who will be joining hehe:)

she loves running...as i drag myself out of bed for 8AM class she is casually returning from her morning run.....

I heard that if you decide to bring a car you do not get a bus pass. Is there anyway that I can do both?

Louis558: Yes. You can pay for your bus pass like students did in past years before Class of 2009.
