Repost for newbies:
Based on past years’ patterns, the remaining RD decisions will be coming out this week. . On decision day decisions will be released in waves starting between 3 and 4 PM Eastern time. It starts with decisions for Massachusetts applicants, then New England, then moves south and west. West coast applicants may not receive decisions until 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific. You will receive a generic email linking to your NU portal. If admitted there will be separate tabs for merit aid and need based aid. The latter only if all required documents have been submitted. If Honors it will be stated in the acceptance letter.
The possible decisions are:
Admit to Fall in Boston
Admit to NUIn
Waitlist
Deny
If offered NUIn it is a final decision. You cannot have it changed to a Fall in Boston admit.
Here is the information on NUIn:

Just a question, who are you? Like are you just a guy that knows about Boston area colleges?
@iamatable Northeastern alumnus from way back. Master’s from BU.
Maybe we will hear of the release first on Northeastern’s Admission Twitter account. For ED II they sent a tweet around 4:00pm that the wait was over.
Also, 22 hours ago they tweeted to reach out by email if there were questions for admissions, since they would be closed. Maybe that is telling.
@2022soon What would that be telling of? Sorry I’m just confused lol
@sciencenerd123 I think what @2022soon is saying is that the twitter account might not have specifically given information on how to reach them if there was not going to be a reason for people to want to reach them. Because it is possible that they might be releasing today, they might want to give a specific way to reach them. Just my interpretation.
No decisions in MA apparently. Expect decisions tomorrow or Thursday.
@sciencenerd123 They have not mentioned that on other snow days.
If they released today or in the coming days and were still closed and students needed to reach out after receiving decisions.
Nothing in Maine. Have they ever released at 5PM?
@sciencenerd123 They came out at 5 last year.
Oh then let’s wait until 5 lol
They released this tweet around 4:45 last year: “A cold, snowy, and yet lovely day on campus. Who will be seeing snow for the first time next year? #northeastern #nuhusky.” I’d expect them to do something similar if they were to release today.
Fingers crossed guys!!! We got this \m/
@iamatable @TomSrOfBoston is a very reliable source of information
