What is the downside to them putting a date out? Just seems like unnecessary worry in an already stressful time.
I’d love to find a convincing answer to this question.
there were a lot of EA deferrals, in hindsight, ED was probably the way to go
Lol tell me about it colleges are so annoying about the release dates. For Brown ED they posted on Instagram that it would be December 14, deleted that post a few days later, and then sent out mixed messages throughout the month. It ended up coming out December 14 and all of the stressing out in the meantime was unnecessary.
I guess, but I can’t justify applying ED to such an expensive school since I’d be banking solely on merit.
I’m assuming nothing in MA?
Nothing.
quick question for people. i can’t tell if i am overanalyzing the situation, but i logged into the application portal and when it says possible decisions, waitlist is lowercase and everything else is capitalized, like this: Possible decisions include: Admit for fall, Admit to N.U.in Program, waitlist, or Deny. i do not remember it being like that before. is it just me?
Decisions came out on a Wednesday last year, which is honestly annoying because now I’m gonna expect them to come out tomorrow. See you guys probably tomorrow.
@doglover198 I have the same thing, it’s always been like that.
@doglover198 I guarantee you that means nothing
I got nothing
Quick question about the portal, do you guys sometimes have to type your NU ID and birthday into the portal twice? Sometimes I’ll type everything in correctly and it’ll just refresh the page. Idk maybe it’s because I auto fill the birthday.
@iamatable @sciencenerd123 okay thank you very much i am so nervous i am overanalyzing everything lol
@iamatable yeah it does the same thing for me sometimes. It’s so annoying
Nothing in VA and not really surprised with the snowstorm slamming Boston. Hopefully tomorrow.
Sharp eye I guess?
I did not notice anything with the capitalizations but my go like this:
“Possible decisions include: Admit for fall, Admit to N.U.in Program, waitlist, or deny.”
deny and waitlist are not capitalized in mine.
@hhhggg that’s weird… waitlist is the only one in lowercase for me, deny is capitalized. I’m very sure that it doesn’t mean anything but I wonder why it’s different for some people?
same with mine
could be different for people who applied RD vs EA
