I’ll rewind my anticipat-o-meter and set to “17 more minutes”
There’s a chance they’ll release at 7 or 8. We shall see.
I have already been rejected by my 32 other schools (UC, Ivies, UW, Purdue, UDel, etc) …just waiting on my safety school NEU!
I’d better get in…or I will have a glorious 0 acceptances…
Nothing… just need to get this over w after Vandy and emory lmaooo
@LucasFire792 damn…32?
Looks like nothing…
@LucasFire792 Out of curiosity, what are your stats? Good luck!
Ivies haven’t even come out yet…
Welp, still hoping! One more, just one more college
Very true. See that “Flag” icon, folks?
@steaksauceA1 Not the ivies, i mean. But, stuff like NU
I think for the sake of our mental healths we need to stay off of this thread, it’s just a bunch of hopes up hopes immediately down and disappointment, let’s just wait until an official tweet it posted
Did anybody receive an email from admissions that we are to get our decisions by this week?
@flythehorizon No, not yet.
NEU’s acceptance rate is 27%, which makes it much safer bet…right?
@flythehorizon Can you post a screenshot of that email here?
NU does not have a 27% acceptance rate. It’s more like 12% this year.
@doglover88 Thanks for sharing this and I suspected that would be the case. The other major factor they have to consider is that up to 1,800 upper class students who would be going abroad or on coop (thus opening room for NUIN students) may not be leaving campus in the fall after all if those programs fall through for them! NEU is not a traditional university by any means and this is one major complication that most other universities do not have to deal with at all. Hang in there to all and try to be open and flexible. And for NUIN accepted students, I hope they can provide you all with guidance soon so you can make a decision that is right for you.
@PortlandOR Where did you find this statistic? Google told me 27% (or something like that)
