Waitlisted after EA defferal
It wont let me into my portal to check my decision. Anyone else having this problem? I tried to call but offices are closed for the night.

decisions are released in waves around/on the hour starting on the East Coast
If NEU is your first choice, this year I hear from many admissions counselors and reps that they expect lots of action for waitlisted students getting offers.
I haven’t gotten my decision yet, but I was wondering… if you get waitlisted and then get off the waitlist would it be to start in Boston or in an NUin program?
If all supporting documents were submitted by the priority deadline. Otherwise it will come out later.
Check to see is there is a separate financial aid tab.
I got waitlisted, it says the decision will come out Aug 1, how does that work since I have to commit to a school by May 1??

As with all waitlists you would need to deposit at a college where you are accepted. If you are admitted off the waitlist you would notify that college that you will not be attending. You may get at least a partial refund of yoir deposit.
Most waitlist decisions come out in May or June.
I believe that means you need commit to another school and withdraw if you want to accept a waitlist spot. You lose your deposit, but possibly worth it if it’s the place you really want to be. Good luck!

Anybody on the East Coast not get their decision yet? I still not have gotten mine and I live in PA.
Not sure why NU releases decisions in waves. Every other college decision I have gotten seems to just come out simultaneous. Are they using “wave” release to create excitement? It doesn’t help anyone
have any west coasters gotten word yet? not a fan of this coming out in waves situation
