Northwestern Class of 2016 Stats: 15% Acceptance Rate

^Here’s some info on the applicant pool (not admitted students but applicants) to the class of 2015 (last year’s admissions cycle):

I remember that from last year. Sobering, and a good reminder that NU looks at applications holistically. D says every person she’s gotten to know at NU has done something extraordinary, in addition to having amazing stats.

I pray that NU will need its wait list this year. I have never been more determined to do anything more than I am determined to get off that list. Northwestern is my number one, and it hurts that interest in the school is so difficult to gauge through paper. I will be devoting this month to showing NU just show much I love the school, and hoping that they will have space in the class to fill after May 1st!

I am 100% with you netzgrl77.

I’ll be declining my offer of admission. Hopefully, my spot will go to one of you who really deserves it. Good luck to all you waitlist-ers!

Where are you heading to Just Smile???

My D declined her offer tonight as well. Good luck to everyone who plans to attend - great school.
