Was wondering if there were any graduate students who applied to Medill that DIDN'T get in?

I'm curious about their admissions process/worried they just want our money in exchange for the perceived prestige.

Don't be shy.

How much does it cost?

I see ads for Northwestern’s Medill program on some sites from time to time. It could be just a big cash cow program where they take your money but if it can open doors that you otherwise might not be able to, it’s probably worth pursuing.

Selectivity doesn’t necessarily matter if the program is doing good work in turning out graduates who get jobs. Of course they want your money; the university is a business and most master’s programs (especially professional ones) are cash cows. A better question is, will the degree help you get where you need to go? Are graduates employed? Where do they work? What services and resources are available to students and alumni?
