just got this e-mail

Dear Northwestern Applicants,

Due to a computer problem, many students were not able
to access their admission decision page online, after
receiving Northwestern's e-mail saying that decision links
were available. We sent out all announcement e-mails together
for our Regular Decision applicants, but clearly many students
were unable to use the link we offered.

The problem has been solved, and decision links should now be
available and functional for Regular Decision 2005 applicants,
using the same instructions outlined in the earlier e-mail
message, which are repeated below.

The link below sends you to our Applicant Services page. In
order to access your decision, you will be asked for your
Application ID code, which was given to you in the application
acknowledgment letter, as well as your e-mail address. If you
have more than one e-mail address, please enter the one on record
with our office. Once you enter this information and click submit,
your admission decision should appear immediately.

The link is:

To those of you who have been waiting for a decision and trying
unsuccessfully to access the link we offered, I offer my personal
apologies. We know that you deserve timely, accurate information
during the admission process. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience
or distress this may have caused.

Please try to access your decision again online. All links
should be accessible now. If you experience any further problems,
please e-mail me directly at keith-todd@northwestern.edu. I appreciate
the effort you have put into the Northwestern application process
over the past weeks and months.

Yours sincerely,
Keith Todd
Director of Undergraduate Admission

It still annoys me that only rejections were not able to see their decisions
