<p>Percussion performance daughter in the midst of auditions. Northwestern U is her top choice. Can anyone comment on whether schools will accept kids with strong potential or just the best that they hear. Also how does the level of the NU percussion program compare w Oberlin.</p>
<p>I think those two programs are similar in comparison. What do you mean by your question about potential? I don’t quite understand. Does your child not audition well? Is she not at the level required but you believe she has the potential to reach that level? I asume she is audtioning at both of these schools. Are these two schools a reach or within her ability range? Any other schools she is looking at?</p>
