Northwestern vs. Berkeley vs. Cornell

There are plenty of people who do care about academics and being intellectual at Berkeley. I think there's enough in that huge class size that would make the school as competitive and difficult as it is.

I don't see why elevenbanks should pick NU or Cornell over Cal b/c of the fact that Berkeley may have people that aren't so academically inclined (it's a state school..what do you expect?...any top notch state schools have people that were mediocre students in high school).

NU has it's share of mediocre high school students too believe it or not.

well in my country (which isnt america obviously) or rather in my school which has the largest proportion of america uni applicants (we're a prep school for govt scholarship kids) in the country has an admission rate as follows :
NU : 3 to weinberg, 6 to mccormick
cornell : 2 to non-engineering school
berkeley : 1 admit.

but then im int'l..this is just fyi

Well yea, for internationals, Berkeley is insanely selective.
