Thoughts? Opinions? If you had to choose, which one. Pretend your a middle class average family.

Northwestern for sure. Seems like the one with the best social life. Plus their women's lacrosse team is simply amazing...but I'm nearly positive that has little to no impact on your decision :)

I've visited them all, and for me I'd have to say WUSTL. Northwestern and Chicago are both very close to home for me. It wouldn't be as exciting (not to mention I'd know too many people going there). But thats just me. Hard to say whats best for everyone

WUSTL is in, what, Missouri.

U Chicago and NU have Chicago.

Chicago Hands Down any day.

Then the other two are a very far away toss up.

WUSTL is in St. Louis. If you are a baseball fan, the Cardinals actually win things like the World Series more than once in a century (unlike the Cubs).

k, I'm a Cubs fan, but you could be a Sox fan(But who really likes the White Sox?,lol)

2 MLB teams, NFL team, NHL hockey, NBA basketball. And that is just sports. Chicago wins.

There's obviously no right answer here. These three schools have cultures, settings, student bodies, and academic strengths/weaknesses that may be seen as positives for one applicant, negatives for another.

Northwestern - only school with D1 sports (Big Ten), a suburban setting with easy access via El to Chicago, broadest range of schools/majors

Chicago - strongest inner city feel and probably strongest utilization of city resourses, most "wear intellectualism on your sleeve feel," least pre professional/most pre academic-PhD

WashU - most campus-centric, most "cozy" hand-holding feel, only pure business major option (NU offers minors, concentrations, and SESP option), St. Louis v. Chicago

Obviously, no one school is best or worst in any general sense, only true for a given individual taking into account his/her particular personality and desires.
