Wash U’s reputation is better than Vanderbilt’s, but Northwestern’s is better than Wash U’s. That being said, I do believe that Wash U and NU are super similar in terms of their programs, strengths and weaknesses, etc. I chose Wash U because it had the extras I wanted: everyone seemed much happier there, quality of life was better, classes were a little smaller, etc. </p>
