Northwestern work load

<p>I’m an engineer and after my first quarter, I can say the work load is pretty intense.</p>

<p>And the Math department LOVES scheduling exams on the same day as Engineering Analysis exams, and THAT screws you over pretty much.</p>

<p>You have to be on top of the material and assignments. There’s no time for catching up if you fall behind.</p>

<p>And apart from the one’s who take 3 classes a quarter, I don’t think so work is easy for anyone…</p>

<p>But overall, if you want to get good grades but are not striving for a perfect 4.0, will you have plenty of time to enjoy extracurriculars, develop friendships, and all that other good stuff?</p>

<p>^^ Sure. If that is your expectations, then you will have room for a social life.</p>
