Not a Chance, but a GAME: Guess Where I Got In (Accepted, Wait-listed, Rejected) - I'll post results

Maybe they rejected you because you already had associate’s degrees? Technically you’re already qualified to enter as a junior. I honestly can’t think of any other reason you were rejected.

@MYOS1634 I really like Boston itself, and BC has a wealth of resources that I would be happy to use, although it doesn’t really concentrate in my intended field which is why I’d like to transfer… And I wish I knew, I mean top schools have no guarantees but being rejected to 11 is just disappointing

Honestly, I don’t think there is too much more you can do. Your stats are amazing. It doesn’t make sense . You do have good options still

Your GPA was probaby a little low for most Ivy schools, though you said thats really high for your school. But with your EC’s being amazing that should have made up for it. Yale/Princeton/Harvard are tough but with those EC’s you should’ve gotten into some of your rejects and at least an Ivy. I mean i don’t think you can get better EC’s than that. My only assumption was that your GPA was too low for them to even look at EC’s, though I don’t see why they would do that.

I think you either had bad essays or they threw your application in the bin after seeing your GPA. Otherwise, I really don’t know how you could get rejected with those ECs…

Why are we commenting on this thread from last admissions cycle lmao
I’d guess that either you wrote bad essays, or you seemed too qualified to the point where schools didn’t want to take a risk and accept you only to have you turn them down for a better one. Basically an AdComs game of hot potato.

I have read a lot of What Are My Chances types of threads, and I don’t think I have ever seen better ECs. Your GPA was low, but you had TWO AA degrees, and as you said it yourself, it was high for your school (1%). I am really confused on why you got rejected to all of these schools.
