Not enjoyin some EC's but worried bout college apps

What I like:

Current (What I Like):

2 Years Chorus - Everyday during school
2 Years Class Council- about once every week
1 Year SCA Council- about once every week
2 Years Book Club- once a month
1 Year Scholar Council (sort of like NHS but unofficial)- every friday
1 Year Track- everyday

What I really don't care about:
Scholastic Bowl- 2 days a week after school
Debate- once every Tuesday+ a whole lot of work

Projected:

Chorus: 4 years
Class Council: 4 Years
SCA Council: 3 Years
Book Club: 4 years
NHS: 2 Years
Track: 3 years

Accomplishments/Awards/Titles:

(Current)
*OSCAR- part of SCA, you make reports(more like plays) to show other schools what is happening, love doing it.
*Class Treasurer
*Plushkin Committee Chairman (Organize fundraiser to sell these dolls)

Projected(Realistic):
OSCAR
SCA Officer: 2 Years

Its not that I don't like bowl and debate but I just enjoy my other EC's much better and would rather set them above the ones I have set. However it just feels that it will pull me down during college admissions and I really want to drop them because of their time consumption outside school.

I am more focused on academics than anything but I also like to have fun in my EC's as well. But I don't know how to tell the advisors.
Help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

If you don’t like your ECs, drop them and spend your time doing ECs and other things that you do enjoy.

Having ECs is about learning about and developing your talents and interests so you can select an interesting college major, and have a fulfilling careers in the work world while also having hobbies and other interests that you enjoy.

If you’re having to grit your teeth and endure your ECs, you’re wasting your time.

You also won’t impress colleges by doing ECs that don’t interest you. The relatively few colleges that pay a lot of attention to ECs are top colleges – places like HPYS- that have such an overabundance of high stat applicants that the colleges can afford to pick and choose in order to create a well rounded, active student body. When evaluating ECs, such colleges are most impressed by the impact the student has had on the EC, not the length of time that the student spent with it.

The EC that made the most difference in younger S’s life was one that he became involved with the summer after junior year in h.s. He had never done this activity before, and he loved it, and developed a program that added it to an EC that he already was involved with. By spring of senior year, he’d gotten a countywide award for his participation.

The EC helped him get merit aid for college, and the skills and experience that it helped him get, helped him get campus leadership positions even as a college freshmen. He also has made a lot of friends through activities related to the EC.

Yeah, you will still have plenty of ECs if you drop the two that you don’t like. That way, you can be more committed to the ones you enjoy, and colleges won’t think you just joined a ton of stuff to “look good.”

Alright thanks for the help.

you really only have like 5 spaces for ECs anyway on your college apps. you’re good.
