not just studying abroad, TRANSFERRING abroad

Me: State university of New York student, 3.5 GPA, International Relations major
Languages I speak: French
My dilemma: I'm halfway through my IR studies, but I need something new. I've traveled abroad before and loved it, so I'm willing to take a gamble. I'd like to transfer somewhere abroad that is inexpensive (as inexpensive as it can get). I've been researching schools in the Czech Republic and Hungary, as well as Greece, Italy, France, and even former Yugoslav countries (Serbia, Croatia). Does anyone have any guidance for me? I've been googling and googling but to no avail.
Thanks!

Advice: whatever you do, do NOT go to Greece!

I’m going to bump this.

I’d like to know what international universities allow you to transfer from a US college, with an emphasis on British universities. I’d also like to know how hard it is to transfer from one to another.

Anyone know? Thanks!

Impossible or close to it in Britain. There is no real concept of “transfer” in the UK. If you want to transfer, you drop out and start again in the first year.

I know someone studied abroad in Scotland and decided that it was really the school she wanted to be at so she transferred there. I don’t really know her well or anything or how that happened, though.
