<p>I am a high school senior. I've already sent transcripts, SAT scores, and teacher rec letters to colleges. But I'm working on essays now, and I really feel that I don't want to apply anymore to one of my colleges.... if I don't submit the commonapp&supplemental for that school, what happens? I know I won't get admitted, but do I have to contact the school separately and tell them to cancel my application? Or does this reflect badly on me to other schools I'm applying to?</p>
<p>I suggest you just send a letter/email to the admissions office and let them know that you would like to remove your application. It doesn’t reflect badly on you at all, it just shows that you’ve changed your mind on what you are looking for. Just letting it go and not informing them that you want to remove your application, that looks bad.</p>
