My current GPA is 2.5 with liberal arts as my major and it's my second year of college. I'm currently taking this Human Genetics class and it's pretty difficult, so far I have flunked every test and my final is coming up next week. Today I was looking at the final study sheet for my Human genetic class, it's still way too complicated. I'm not sure if I should drop this class or not, I'm afraid it will hurt my gpa if I fail though. I'm falling behind in credits as well, it's my second year and I only managed to obtain 13 credits =(

well taking summer classes will help with lack of credits… if you drop the class now it will show up as W on your transcript. I don’t know if it’s a bad thing or not but having too many W’s certainly bad. Talk to your academic advisor.

=( I might be extremely stupid or what not but Human genetics is difficult. Till this point of the term, I still don’t know jack **** about the course. Did you ever take human genetics?

I doubt you still can drop it this late in the game, and if you can it may count as a failure anyway. Why on earth did you take human genetics as a LA major and let it get this bad before considering dropping? You dropped the ball, buddy!

I know, it was a huge mistake picking this class. I picked it at the last minute cause I needed one more class to become full time -.-

Well I made a similar mistake this semester, by taking Intro Computer Science. The class teaches Java and enrolled into it thinking it would be an easy A. But oh well, it’s not.

I think most people make mistakes like that at least once. Definitely talk to your adviser and see what your options are, this close to finals you may not have any but to do your best. See if they’ll let you retake the class for a higher grade, if you think you could get it on a second go around.

It turns out, my professor gives me a D+ =(
Should I keep the grade or re-take it?
