All of high school I've been thinking of engineering as a career, mainly because I needed to have something to say if people asked. Recently I've been pondering whether or not I have what it takes. I don't feel as strong in math as an engineer should feel. I have friends who get 750+ on the Math SAT II's. I am good at math but not as good as them, and I see myself more as someone who is good at math when the opportunity arises but not good enough to build a career on math. I'm much better at reading and writing (750 on SAT as opposed to 650 math) but I can't think of any viable careers that utilize those skills. Can anyone help me out? I have two questions:

1) How much math is used in computer engineering?

2) What are some writing careers that pay roughly the same as an engineer?
