Not sure if topic for Bard supplement is too racy

So for the supplement it gives the option of attaching a graded analytical essay. And this year, my AP Lit class read the God of Small Things, and I got an A on an essay that I wrote about it which I am thinking of sending in, because I did write it really well. But the problem is that this essay analyzes an incestuous relationship between a pair of twins and their intercourse and how it has nothing to do with physical attraction. Is this too weird to send in?

I would say send it in. Bard isn’t going to judge you on the context. Bard just wants to see your ability and originality. If this is the best graded paper you have, send it in. If it’s not, then I’d advise you find another, but you seem to be into this one.

If this were any other school, I’d advise against sending it in, but it’s not any other school.

I agree with lilygraces. Bard cars about the quality of writing, and is not by any means conservative enough to care if you are writing about something ‘racy’-if anything, a willingness to go outside the what is normally accepted in the outside world is applauded. I can imagine an essay like that being written in a very serious, analytical way here. I cannot really imagine that kind of content being criticized.
