Hey everyone. I was born in the USA and lived here until i was 11 years old. At the age of 11 I moved to Moscow, Russia and for the last 5 years I've attended 2 international schools. At the moment, I am a junior in high school at the Anglo-American School of Moscow. I have a citizenship and a passport however I will have a high school diploma from a school that is located in Russia. Would I be considered an international applicant or not? Help is much appreciated in advance!

Your US Citizenship places you in the best pool, domestic students. The location of your High School is irrelvant for this determination.

If your high school follows a US-type curriculum, and routinely sends applicants to college in the US, your own guidance counselor should be able to help you with the whole process. If your high school is not like that, read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.state.gov) and then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center in Moscow. They will have useful ideas for you.

Wishing you all the best!
