I’m taking 5 AP classes my senior year simply because I enjoy the classes and the material, and I enjoy the challenge. I signed a NLI (National Letter of Intent) for sports as a junior, meaning I have already been accepted into the college.
Seeing as this college does not accept AP credit, would it look bad to not take my AP tests my senior year?
I don’t enjoy taking them, nor do I see a real reason to because I won’t earn credit for them anyways due to the colleges rules and the AP credits I’ve already earned. I would rather not pay for the tests, because it would cost close over $400 for all of tests.
Yeah, just don’t take them.
If your school is not making you take them (some private schools have it as a requirement for students to take APs), I wouldn’t bother.
If there is no benefit, don’t bother wasting the time, money, or energy.
