@lookingforward I meant to write Stevens Institute of Technology. I don’t know why I wrote Stevens University…oops. I have searched around, and apparently they have a 40% acceptance rate, but I heard a very good college and it’s very close to me.
@baltimoreguy yeah I’m learning Korean on my own. I found out about that program a month or two ago(when it was too late to apply for this summer) and I’m planning on applying for next summer.

My advice to you would be not to look at ECs a bit differently. I agree, you should NOT go out and join a bunch of clubs that you have no interest in. But you already are doing something you are passionate about – you are learning different languages, on your on and outside of school. That alone is an EC in a sense, or possibly can be made into one. Look around in your community – maybe there is a Korean group that meets once a week or on the weekends; maybe there is a preschool that has Korean children and you can volunteer and improve your Korean – OK, I am totally grabbing at straws. But my point is to STICK WITH YOUR PASSION – which sounds like it is languages - and get broader and deeper there. Don’t feel like you have to find ECs at your school, you do NOT.
