I REALLY ENJOY GETTING INVOLVED AND DOING COMMUNITY SERVICE, IT IS ONE OF MY PASSIONS

June 2007-Aug. 2007 Tutor for Fifth Grader (this is my last week with him as well)
Aug. 2007-June 2008 Elementary After School Program (ill be working with kids)

I ALSO ENJOY ENCOURAGING KIDS TO GO TO COLLEGE, THEY ARE NEVER TO YOUNG TO LEARN ABOUT THE POWER OF EDUCATION, AND I LOVE WORKING WITH THEM

In conclusion…
I love Social Sciences therefore, I am planning to go into Political Science, and later becoming a well-known, respected and respectable, noble Politician (might sound hard to imagine) in the future. The main thing on my agenda will be Education, and try to get members of communities who usually do not attend a four year institution, into one.

I may not be academically strong compared to many of other Stanford applicants, but my passion is doing unconditional community service to others. I am inspired to serve, to inspire others, (I don’t know if that makes sense to anyone).

Stanford is my dream school, I have been dreaming of it since I can remember. I am planning to do SCEA since it is my first choice. (by the way, do u recommend i do SCEA or regular?) I would really be bummed out if I didn’t’ get accepted, and I know it might be a huge reach for me, but I would like some of your thoughts? What do u think???

If you raise that SAT score to 2200+, I'd say you have a pretty good shot -- good ECs + URM status.

More AP scores in the 4-5 range will help your cause as well, but your number one priority is that SAT score. I would safely say your chances of getting in will rise (or not) greatly depending on how you do on your next SAT.

Like everyone said, raise your SAT if possible. Also though, since your SAT score is something that is not terribly easy to dramitically change, focus more on the areas that you have more control over. Write incredibly unique and outstanding essays and find good teacher recs. Sure Stanford wants academically gifted students but diversity is very important also.
You should apply EA.

I can't imagine anyone getting in with 1540 on SAT. Sorry. Don't apply EA. Work on your scores instead. You need SAT IIs as well, btw...

^ That is very much accurate. One thing I would add: I think you have some interesting backgrounds and interesting experiences. With a better score, you certainly have a shot. I think 2000+ is where you have to aim for (2200+ would be better). Good luck. Do not pressure yourself to much on the test, but attempt to do naturally better (in other words, don't have a nervous breakdown).
