<p>I will be entering college this year. I'm really bad at note-taking. You should always write the most important stuff down. I tend to try to write everything down because I don't know what's important and what's not.

<p>It’s really just kind of something you have to ‘learn’. In a lecture, you’re not going to be able to write everything down unless you record it, and if a professor expects you to write down EVERYTHING, they’re either going to be writing it on the board themselves or providing you with a skeleton powerpoint to take notes on. It sucks, but everyone has those moments where you remember the professor talking about it but you didn’t write it down because you didn’t think it’s important. </p>
<p>Once you learn your professors’ lecture and testing styles, it becomes much easier. First few sessions of every class are a little awkward note-wise</p>
