nothing special but would like chances please!

<p>Not any selective schools, but my program is highly competitive - Nursing.
I will warn you I am not a spectacular student, but decent for my school.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.2 combined since 9th grade.. unweighted </p>

<p>Rank: (weighted) 97 / 508 (top 20%)</p>

<p>No APs, several Honors</p>

<p>Decent science grades (Physical(C+), Bio(B+), Chem(A-), Anatomy(projected A), Organic & Biochem(projected A) </p>

<p>SATs: 1800 / 1170 CR+M from June; Oct score out in a few days..</p>

<p>EC's: Varsity dance team 9-12; capt 12 (heavy commitment - 10 months/year, 8 hrs/week)
studio competition team; senior company 8-11
volunteer @ women's shelter 10-11</p>

<p>work experience:
2 jobs as cashier avg 20 horus/week 11-12
asst. dance teacher avg 8 hours/week 10-11 </p>

<p>expected decent essays, good recs.</p>

<p>MCPHS definitely and Northeastern</p>

<p>but chances really at northeastern?
i looked on that "how do i stack up" thing on collegeboard and my scores are just on the cusp of northeastern students..
it's iffy.</p>

<p>also, do you think interviews at some schools may help a teensy bit with admissions?? some of my schools flat out don't offer them. others say they aren't required, but are considered..</p>
