Nothing too exciting, but which would you consider more prestigious?

I vote for UNCW. It’s the most selective of the four schools and is the strongest in the liberal arts. Wilmington is also more interesting than Boone, Greenville, or (arguably) Oxford.

One of your past posts indicates an interest in biology. Biology is strong at UNCW, and only a half dozen universities can match it in marine biology.

I spent a summer at App recently, and while I absolutely love the location, it can get boring fairly fast. King Street is a pale imitation of Franklin, and while I really like Boone, it’s not a bustling town. Facilities are a mixed bag – the library, student union, and the new dorms are extremely nice (better than at some of the elites), but some of the older academic buildings (English, education, etc.) are antiquated and in the process of being renovated.

Still rankled by that ignominious defeat by App State, I see.
