notification date?

wustl seems only release decisions on their website

a few(2 days for early decision) days after the decisions are posted online, there will be an email like this sent to you

You will soon receive notification of your admission decision. I know that you are eager to learn of the status of your application. A copy of the notification letter has been posted on our Web site at http://admissions.wustl.edu.

From the Office of Undergraduate Admissions home page, select the "Applications and Guides" link. Then choose "Check Your Status" from the menu. You will need to use your Application ID Number to log in. Your Application ID Number can be found on the confirmation we sent when you first submitted your application.

We cannot release admission decisions over the telephone.

they normally release decisions before the date, check the website beginning the 15th and around there you'll know

yea, ive been checking obsessively.

also... did any of you guys get deferred early decision? and, if so, what have you done to make your application stand out since then?

i was deferred ED. i called the day i was deferred and and emailed several people in admissions. my english teacher called as well as my journalism advisor. i have maintained high grades and sent them a new activity sheet as well as a 3rd letter of reccomendation. i made sure to maintain contact with the school by emailing my rep once a month, i wanted to make sure he knew my name

yea... i did something similar. a few days after i got the letter i called my admissions representative. then i had two more recommendations written: one from my trig teacher and another from a community service advisor. i also wrote a letter to nanette tarbouni about what i have accomplished within the past few months and had my guidance counselor call to talk me up a little more. i hope everything works out for you!

so i guess i checked the washu site today and it says that they still don't have my 7th semester transcript???? and decisions are mailed soooon???

do i call them and send it ASAP or will they basically discard my app now?

yea...same with me. they dont have my 7th semester transcript either...

id notify your application processor right away. theyll probably get back to you within the next day. then at school id check in your guidance office to see what the deal is.

if i were you i would call and tell them that you spoke to the school and so on because it isnt good to leave that stuff up to chance

omg ahh! i would believe march 15th, too... I applied ED and I wound up finding out 2 days earlier than they had said... so I feel like it's not rare for them to be early. SO SCARY! that's like next weeekkk...

Oh my gosh...MArch 15th is too early......... :-/

There is no such thing as too early, for me at least.

i can't believe it. It's next Wednesday and after Friday Wednesday will come like a breeze. But it's not that early. I got my first letter with scholarship notice from Case WEstern last week. But WUSTL would be a very good addition to my acceptance collection.

so, next Wednesday (3/15), we can check the decision?

If you haven't already found out by then.

i am so ******* scareD!!!! AHHH!!

I just checked D's status. It says they don't have her application on file. Last week it said only her 7th semester report was missing (although it was sent in January.)

She already received her letters from the scholarships, too!

E-mailing them of course.

maysixx, your daughter received a scholarship to Wash. U.? Or a general scholarship?

Isn't she also applying to Hendrix?

Maysixxmom,
Which scholarships did she receive a letter from at WashU?
