<p>My son received his letter today…didn’t want me to open it til he got home but he has a wrestling meet until 10:00 tonight! I ran it up to him after school and HE IS IN! We are in the western suburbs of Chicago.</p>
<p>Ahh, im excited! i hope i get my letter tomorrow, but im in NW Florida, so that’s notttt likely.
I’m likely a deferral though. but i guess i can always hope for the best =/</p>

<p>I agree with ibaswimmer. As long as operations at USPS are normal (even with holiday fluctuations considered) most of the nation should have their envelopes tomorrow. I got an acceptance package from a NYC school all the way out here in California two days after it was postmarked.</p>
<p>Of course this also assumes they mailed all letters on the same day.</p>
<p>yeahh i looked it up actually (i think my anxiousness has become a problem… haha) and it said that usually no matter where in the united states it should typically take no more than 2 days if its just a regular letter… soo i dont knoww! i’m hopeful! haha</p>
<p>Congrats to all those accepted! Hopefully you will all visit - it may positively change your mind if you are on the fence - there is something special here. And yes, the general breakdown is 25% legacy, 15-25% athletes, and then the regular group of applicants, but don’t worry, I wasn’t legacy, and only know a couple, so it is not like you have to be a legacy.</p>
