<p>Hi everyone (congrats to the admitted, good luck to the deferred and denied)!</p>
<p>I received my acceptance today (YAY) and it said something in the letter about my being a Notre Dame Scholar. What does this mean? Is it just a nice honor, or does it actually affect my financial aid or anything else?</p>

<p>From what I heard during my campus visit, it’s really more of just an honorary title, but you also will get first dibs of grants during the financial aid process, which is a fact that I am quite pumped about.</p>
<p>How did you just get acceptance today? I thought EA went out in December and Regular was not until April 1?</p>
