Hey a new thing showed up on my portal to fill out a confirmation form! Check your portals!
Yep, a “forms” link showed up on my portal! So you can check online but it doesnt say what class you’re accepted to.
Hi guys! I’m new to this forum but I just got my letter (2 days ago) and I got in!!! Congrats to those of you who did as well! Also, I was wondering if you guys know how difficult it is to get into this program. Is it very selective? How many people get, what is the percentage rate, etc. Congratulations again! Now I’m just waiting on yygs…
@ldunne98 I’m not home to check yet, I live in LA, but if you check on your online portal you can see if you’ve been accepted!
my online portal hasn’t been updated since the day I sent my application. what do your accounts say? where does it tell you if you have been excepted?
autocorrect kills me! accepted^^
@amandamramierez when you click on the link that takes you to the place that shows the status of everything you’ve submitted, there’s a new link at the bottom.
I got in, by the way!!!
Hey, I’m Annika from MN! I got the confirmation form on my portal, and I can’t wait to get my letter telling what class I got into!
I have nothing on my online portal…so I’m going to go with I didn’t get in
@amandaramirez- Hang in there. You may still have a chance. The letter may still arrive and remember whether you get in or not does not determine your future . I have been through this drill with my own children and I can tell you that sometimes things do not make sense at all. Chin up and keep going on. What program did you apply to?
@Floridamomma thank you so much. I really needed that. I applied for American Partisan Politics (1st), Law (2nd), and Debate and Public Speaking (3rd). I’m awaiting my letter. as you can tell I’m extremely nervous.
@amandaramirez- I know you are nervous- it’s completely understandable. If you don’t hear anything, why don’t you give them a call? It could not hurt. I’m going to keep you in my prayers. Another thought I had- why not look into the JSA program (The Junior State of America) ? One of my children did that program at Georgetown and it was AWESOME!!! It’s not too late to apply. Here is the link - http://summer.jsa.org/programs/summer-school/georgetown-university/ Now that child is only interested in G-Town right now. lol. Keep us posted on your status. I’m sending good thoughts your way. But remember this- Some of the most successful people in this world were rejected. Imagine Walt Disney being fired for lack of imagination or Michael Jordan being cut from his HS basketball team for lack of skill. Just keep persevering through. The key to being successful is never giving up and finding a way. I hope that the program at ND works out, but if not, continue searching for a summer program. JSA is amazing and it is right up your alley! You also get 3 college credits for the course. My child did Debate, met so many famous politicians, and LOVED it. There are great professors there too. Feel free to inbox me with any additional questions. Blessings to you.

That’s strange that your guys’ confirmation forms don’t show which one you got into; mine shows Research Computing.
Am I the only one who’s online portal tells them what they got? Mine shows Literature
Did any current Sophomores (rising Juniors) apply/get accepted?
D attended summer scholars last summer, legal course. Accepted to Notre dame this year. I think it’s more selective than 30 or 40 percent. The Notre dame summer scholars is worthwhile program
D is a current sophomore/rising junior and was wait-listed for The Law. My guess is that very few get in off the wait list. Anyone else wait-listed?
@sunnyrae8 mine shows my track.
Also if anyone got waitlisted for Research Computing they might get in depending on if I get accepted to MITES
