@Floridamomma thank you so much! I was invited to JSA in Washington DC to go to the White House for Law and CSI! maybe I’ll see if they will still take me
Hey everybody! Congratulations on your acceptances. I participated in Summer Scholars 2015 as a junior, and I won’t be returning this summer, but if you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer them.
@bc0325 Hello! I just received my acceptance into the Shakespeare track today, and I would love to hear about your experience at Notre Dame! Did you room with someone in the same track as you, and which dorms did everyone stay in? Also, I know this probably depends on the track, but I’d love to know what the workload is like outside of the classroom, and what a normal day is like. Thank you for your input!
@IvegotFour I did
@bc0325 how selective is the program? are all the kids there really really smart or is everyone kind of average?
Hi everyone:) I just got my letter yesterday and I was accepted into the Photography track! I’m so excited, Notre Dame is my dream. Can’t wait!
Hey everyone! I just got accepted to the Partisan Politics track yesterday and I was wondering if there were any social media groups (like FB group) to join. At my last summer program - we had one and it was VERY helpful. I’ve been doing a bit of research and supposedly girls are in Walsh if anyone is interested. Feel free to message me! Congrats to all
Hello to all the new people! I got into the literature track. I’m pretty sure you need to have friends to add to a group before you make the group. So I’ll link my profile and you can me, then I’ll make the group.
Daughter is rising junior admitted to Global Health.
Does that link work?
no
@hoffman98 The rooming appeared to be arbitrary. I actually ended up with a single. What they do is they divide the floors into “sections” and each section has a counselor, and then your sections becomes somewhat of a family during the two weeks. Each seems to have a pretty good mix of tracks. Last year, the girls stayed in Walsh and the boys stayed in Fisher. The workload generally isn’t too crazy, because they try to balance schoolwork with other activities, but it does depend on the track. I was in counterfactual history (which didn’t return this year) and that required a good deal of time commitment.
@tryingforharvard I don’t know your definition of average, but I would say everybody there would be considered above average in my own high school, at least. But nobody was super intense.
Here’s the link to the fb page, https://www._________.com/groups/967600559926078/
cc doesn’t allow the actual link to just replace the underscores with fb
Hi again everyone! Just got my acceptance letter to the Film track - can’t wait to see you all this summer! My facebook is https://www.____.com/catiecullen if anyone needs it

I’m new to this forum, but I got accepted into the Shakespeare track. Greetings from CA!
Hey everyone. I just completed the confirmation form and I was wondering if anyone else had red x marks next to things on the checklist like University Waiver and medical form. I’m pretty sure those come in May. Does anyone have any insight on whether those must be filled out by April 20th?
@jowanna I’m doing the photography track too! Can’t wait to meet everyone!
