the one with chinese women and english math problem was E, there’s not enough info right? also, the one with the folding the box, its I & II only?

the one with what would be the 19th term if the first term is 0 and the pattern is x^2-1? it was -1 right?

yeah i put -1

Yes i got E for the chinese women because you don’t know if 10% of the women spoke chinese.

And it was -1 because every even number was 0 and every odd number was -1

for sentence completion there was a question about sloths… I put somnolent and thriving.
I also got subvert for one and ingrate for another…

one of them was ingrate, and another wasn’t somnolent, sorry

How do you know that some sections are experimental?

@chaoscuber
do you remember what you put then? it seemed to be the only one that fit xD

You don’t know exactly unless it’s obvious that it is incredibly hard and is extra.

What was the answer to the 60% of 300 ppl are women. If 10% of the group speak chinese,how many women speak chinese… I was thinking E but then I was like, maybe the 10% who speak chinese could be all women so I chose the other answer.

@zealouswonder
you know that 10% of the group speaks chinese, and that 60% of the group are women. but the 10% could be all men or all women for all you know…so it’s E

Well… you don’t know if that 10% of chinese people are all women, if you think about it, it’s like a mixtures problem but in this case, we need more information. Personally, this is the first time in all my experiences taking practice tests that an answer turned out to be Not enough information

Yeah true it could be women and men but it didn’t say anything specific. So it could be possible that 10% could be chinese women.

But it said specifically, 60% of the group was women, meaning that the other 40% was men, and thus, the 10% of the whole group could’ve been either chinese or non chinese.

Yes it did say specifically 60% were women but 10% of the group could have been both women and chinese.

i put ingrate and thrive too but i dont know about subvert… i think i didnt choose that one. do you remember what the sentence was? does anyone remember the sentence completion about foreign insects coming and destroying like the environment? i think i chose E for that… “exotic…something”???

It was exotic and something to do with hindering/threatening

I remember picking both ingrate and exotic.

the somnolent and thriving works right? b/c the koalas are always “somnolent” they are lazy, but their sleepiness allows them to “thrive” with low-diet…?

yeah I put exotic+something
I don’t remember what the question for subvert was…

So, if a question turns out to be experimental, they don’t count it?
