darn i changed the answer to the figs one :frowning: so no one had a passage about documenting African American landowners?

A-Jubilant was my answer.
Looks like several others got the same thing. Pretty sure that is correct.

@bio the tree question was 1980

I’m pretty sure the tree one was 1980. something like that

for the one with a=2 and b=3 I put none. Since in the question they never explain the relationship of even say if their is one none of the answers can possibly be “always true”

What do you guys think?

are you guys referring to the girl at the wedding for the “jubilant” question? i think i put petrified… it said she was very anxious and kept wondering what the bride’s parents were going to say

@sparkfor i agree 100%

urgh I had 1980 but I changed it last minute, don’t remember why. Does anyone remember the actual tree question?

It was 1980, because the last year was 1996 and at that point it had to be 16 TIMES the original amount if 1980 equals 2 and each year it doubles at 1996 it would be 32. 2 x 16 = 32

1996 had 16 times as many trees as what year if the trees double every 4 years.
1980-1
1984-2
1988-4
1992-8
1996-16

1980 is correct.

Anyone remember the hexagon where the largest “diagonal” was 48? I got 144… I just split up the thing in half got 2 angles to be 120 and the other two to be 60 then i just divided each half into 3 equilateral triangles and got the sides to be 24. So 24 x 6 and I got 144.

bgioan thats wat i did too and even if u split the triangles into 30 60 90 triangles u’ll end up with the same answer ;)

sorry, it is definitely not petrified. petrified means terrified, which she was not. she was excited (jubilent) for the marriage

Yes! Haha I guessed 142 then I went back and fixed it after I had sometime.
I put apathy :\ Wasn’t that question relating to Elaine’s response to Frank or whatever his name was? What was the answer to that

do you guys remember the question with the three equilateral triangles on a line segment? they could be divided in to 30 60 90 triangles right?

yea i put apathetic to the other girls reaction to the other guy

Guys, although I put jubilant, it said she was in “excited anxiety” so I feel petrified is right. Sad for me

apathy is correct. it was elaine’s response to the lanky person (forgot his name) who she did not care much about.

borunks, think about it logically. would you be terrified (Set in stone literally) if your friend was getting married? excited anxiety implies happiness with a bit of worry. not terror.

excited anxiety is farther from petrified than from jubilant.
Petrified is just such a stretch. I will be very surprised if that is right.
