Nov 5th SAT I

i said talking more about his successful flight

did you guys get 1008 for one of the fill-ins?

1008 is the smallest number above 999 that can be divided by 6, 8, and 9.

I also put the choice about the more successful flight..and 1008 for the divisible question.

26 is the correct answer for the surface area of the shape. I think it was answer D.

umm so for the square and circle radius problem, is 1.4 right? what's the verdict?

between 1 and 1.5

ok, ur sure?

blah read the previous posts

cant believe i put diameter for the circle one...gahh there goes my 800 i thought the math was ridiculously easy

lol im slowly remembering some of the answers.

was it 37.5 for one of the degrees on the fill-ins

does anyone remember the answer to how many 4 digit number has has 2 for its thosands digit and 2 for its units? I said 100 since it is 1 choice for the thousand, 10 for the hundredth, 10 for the tenth and 1 for the units. 1x10x10x1=100

that was experimental b/c i dont remember that at all

lixuelai, I had a similar question on one of my math sections; it asked for the number of 2-digit numbers with numbers in the tenths places greater than those in the ones--I think I put 45 for that.

yeah it was def. 45 for that one.

I had that as well. Yeah it was 45. It was 1 + 2 + 3... to +9 which adds up to 45.

For 10 there is only 1 that works which is 10, for 20 there is two 21 and 20 and so on.

Hmm are there another versions of the reasoning test besides the one you all are discussing now... All those questions that you are discussing, I cant recall.

Ok one that freaked me out on correcting the paragraph:

Was the answer: At the time when Wright Brothers were suceeding, Chinese guy build
or
When chinese guy built the Wright Brothers were suceeding

BTW, the last grid in was 1<r<1.5

Proof:
Small square sides = rt2
Big sides=3

Cut diagnols (45-45-90 triangle), and the diagnol of the small square is (rt2)(rt2)=2. r thus =1

r must be bigger than 1, but if it's greater than half of the big square, it touches the big square. Hence, 1<r<1.5

i put

When chinese guy built the Wright Brothers were suceeding

it removes the dependant clause and makes the sentence simpler/better

d3!ty, I put "At the time when..."
