<p>I’m sorry, I apparently read the question wrong. The answer is 1<x<1.5 :/</p>
<p>how about the question that asked for a possible value of “a” in the sequence:
a, 2a+1, 2(2a+1)+1, … , for which, the sum of the first 4 terms would be less than 1000?
in the way I solved It, more that one answer choice could work.</p>
<p>It asked for a number for which ONLY the first 4 would be under 1000. Answer was 109</p>
