Is it true that NOVA kids need to emphasize their academic endeavors even more than the regular non-NOVA applicant? I’m assuming the reasoning behind this is that NOVA kids are typically more wealthy and have more access to opportunity than the typical applicant.

I recall researching Stanford’s data set at one point. VA is not overly represented. But it is not alone Just be your best self on your application. It is a highly competitive school. No one gets in by submitting a poorly developed application, regardless of where they live. Use Naviance if you have access, and if it has data points. Good luck
