November 2008 Vs. October 2008

For those of you who took both exams, which did you feel was the more difficult one?

October 08
Math was easy, but curve kind of sucked. (-2 = 750)
CR wasn't too bad either. as always, passage was easy. vocab kind of raped me. (-5 = 750)
Writing is usually my best but i didn't do so well. I think the curve was ridiculous or something. (-5 = 700. and this was with an okay essay score! (10) which actually brought my score UP! without my essay.... -5 = 68 for MC WTH!
Essay....not too bad. about carefully planning before making decisions. but started very late :( my own fault though

November 08
Math wasn't bad either. (GAH i ran out of time on 2, and it was pretty easy which means curve will suckk :(. no 800)
CR passages weren't bad, very straightforward, but vocab raped me. again. more than last time.
Writing....I thought it was easier.
Essay....random topic....compare to others to gain appreciation? just harder to find good, nonpersonal examples for. I had to resort to one semi personal one...which ive never done and never wanted to do :(

hope Novs writing curve is nice and the questions were easier because I really need to improve this score in order to have a decent superscore....especially since I probably did the same or worse on Math and CR :(

But that's my own fault because I didn't se a single SAT problem or prep book between tests

November.
In October, I think the vocab and the passages were much easier. I think I did better on this one, but only after studying a lot.

November had easier CR passages but harder vocab.
Math was about the same.
Writing was also about the same.

Essay prompt in November also took more thinking than the October one did.

NOV: MC writing easier, Essay harder
Math: slightly trickier with wording of questions and even difficulty of questions
CR: sentence completions: SUICIDAL, passages: about the same

^^agree with stueydue. except math wasn't that bad. I'm still shooting for an 800. still a little bit tricky.

i wasnt really saying math was bad, i was just saying it seemed slightly trickier than october's

good luck ace and everyone else. what are u looking at for the other sections?
so far i think im 800 math and potentially 800 writing..... but reading... hoping to break 700 (not going to happen the way it seems though)

do we know the october 08 curve yet? I assume they will be equal.

yeah it will probably be equal. we will be getting a break if its
-1 780
-2 760
-3 730
-4 710

i'm hoping for 800 M and an 800 W. I don't know about CR, there seems to be a lot of debatable questions. I don't think I've gotten that many wrong though so far. Hoping for 750+

^
was that the october math curve?

Id be so happy with that lol.

I'm not sure. Normally the curve is:
-1 780/770 if math was really easy
-2 750
-3 720
-4 710/700 if math was really easy

Well...i don't know the whole curve from october but:

Math
-1 770
-2 750

CR
-5 750

W
-5 68MC. (actual score can be brought up with essay of course.)
and -5 MC and 10 essay = 700

wow, i didnt realize -5 for october CR was 750. that means ours might be even a little more generous...

HOPE SO! haha

what score would i get if i were to receive the following raw scores for NOV 2008 SAT ?
CR:54
M:52
Writing: 42 with 8 on essay
thanks

I'd guess 640 CR, 740 Math, and 700 W.

^ i'd say 650 CR, 760 M, and 630 W.

660 cr
750 m
650 w
