I was going to choose “change the course of art history” but I think that’s inferring too much.

Maya Angelou is definitely “versatile”.

I was going to choose “change the course of art history” but I think that’s inferring too much.

Maya Angelou is definitely “versatile”.

for the comparative passages:

the one about ana who read books - was her use of language haphazard?

dad’s letters be happy, baba - was it mild criticism

I said “versatile” and “great ability and productivity” as well.

@acissej: Two weeks before the test, I didn’t study any vocab and wasn’t sure if I should buy the books because I doubted that they were worth the money, using them for only 2 weeks. Nevertheless, I bought them thanks to CC and they were so helpful. You could see so many of the words on the SC and on the CR passages. DH saved my life.

@sephora2

i said she was using language playfully

what about the baba passage?

baba passage?? don’t remember this…
do u remember other details about it

Did anyone else get a really short 19 question CR section for like section 5? i finished with 10 minutes remaining which is really old. It only had 1 page of vocab, 2 short passages and 1 long passage.

im from canda…do i have different exam package then u guys?

Yeah I got a short one.

historian had “admiration and disdain” for forger

what was the other choices for this question? WHy cant i remmeber this answer choice?

I put that the mistake the forger made was that his works were too masterful.

And I got detective

One of the choices was “indignation and resignation.” Not sure about indignant but it was some anger emotion + resignation.

@sat1prep

another choice was amusement…something

HOW MANY CR WRONG-----> =700+/-??? estimate/approximate

indignant and vexed and enraged?. I put vexed because the author seemed p1$$ed, not angry.

I thought the author maintained a relatively neutral tone throughout the passage.

It was that one part of the passage where the author was talking about how the critics dismissed his theory… this is the dolphin guy right?

I think we’re talking about different sections. I don’t remember reading a passage about dolphins.
