November 2010 SAT - Critical Reading

To me, the spanning eras one didn’t fit very well, but it made the most sense out of all of them. I think he only had one main style, the one that went against ballroom dancing, so I don’t think it was the choice about a variety of styles.

The definition of span is “to extend or reach over (space or time)” so I think that even though he didn’t dance in the 50’s, he still reached up to that time, so in a way he still spanned the era…?

I also got surprise and pleasure for the chinese one

I put that he spanned many eras. It didn’t really talk much about the different styles, just how he leaned towards the ground and did that toss. I was stuck between those two so I could be wrong, but that was my logic.

I put uncomprehending for the scientist one. Is that confirmed to be wrong? And is there a consolidated list?

hold on, was ritual engagment an answer to the farm boy?

also -2 800 or -1 800?

also was generalization of the nature deceptive behavior an answer?

i also out cocievable and beneficial, its actually what everyone who ive talked to put .

I’m pretty sure it’s not uncomprehending. He understood the idea but rejected it. I put pretentious.

"characterized by assumption of dignity or importance. "

Kind of fits, but not really. Correct answer was probably incensed (furious, angry).

I had CR as extra section, so some of the answers may not be the ones you were asked to complete. As for the rest, I am quite sure that they are the answers.

GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT!

Another exam… Collegeboard REUSED IT. -11/2005. WOW
Almost all writing and math section and all reading section except for one.

Plus, I have heard quite many ppl saying that they did this exam…

Isn’t this SO NOT FAIR??? I am so upset now… I am gonna call or email collegeboard and
you guys may want to too…

for the how would the artist feel, i put the one with suspicion. anyone else?

^More importantly…

What was the curve?

^■■■■■ I have that test!!! Someone gave me the november 05 test. HAHAHA!!! Wow!!! Im not ■■■■■■■■. I swear to god.

But it’s not the same test that i took today. Since there were two versions, I got the version that wasn’t the november 05 test

^

well, more importantly, I am gonna call Collegeboard.

it’s just way too unfair. Those people who already had this exam would prob get everything right even when they got 600 or sth before.

ahhhh NOOOOOOO i had nonchalant at first then i changed it to indignant=/ ahhhhhhhhh it was so stupid of me to go against my instinct and change ittt esp since in retrospect it’s obvious that indignant is wayyyy too extreme. stupid me, byeeee 800!

and omg the convo with the father and daughter was RITUAL?! i considered putting that since the daughter’s dad always wanted her to be fanciful or something, but i thought ritual was too formal/extreme a way to describe it.

backfing

yeah it’s not the one I took. Even tho I had the same version, it’s still not fair.

ritual just says that its something that they repeat. so yeah its ritual.

what did u guys get for the one with choices like spontaneous, constant, methodical, … for the chinese artist passage. i bombed CR again… missed like all questions for the musician. for those who took the march sats this year, did you think nov. was harder or easier? i personally thought it was more difficult. sigh…

i just had all of those the person above said. (the could have been was what i had too)

The college board recycles tests all the time. The sunday october sat was the same as june 2010. They also recycle subject tests.

please say deliberate and leisurely.
