November 2011 SAT Results Discussion

Hey guys, so I know scores are still 12 hours from being released, but I thought I might start this now in case anyone still wants to speculate scores or anything.

We're going to post:

Predicted score - (200-800) CR, (200-800) M, (200-800) W, (0 - 12) Essay -> Composite Score
Actual score - (200-800) CR, (200-800) M, (200-800) W, (0 - 12) Essay -> Composite Score
Number wrong per section - #/CR, #/M, #/W
For the heck of it, #1 choice for college:

From this we can try to predict the curve and whatnot.

Predicted score:

750 CR 800 M 730 W

2280 (already got 800M and 730W, so those scores are there for sure)

! school is: Harvard/Stanford

Predicted:
800M, 700W, 730 CR

1 UVA

Predicted score:
700 CR 800 M 750 W

800 M already. Schools are Harvard or Vandy.

Predicted: 680 CR 780? M 750 W
Composite: 2210
(I’m only a junior though, so I can bring it up next time!)
What’s the usual score if one math MC is wrong? I accidentally marked the wrong one, and was running out of time. Forgot to go back and change it…
Schools: MIT or BU

And what time (EST) are the scores released?
This is obviously my first time taking the SAT.

@ lunaAndAberforth, no worries, it’s my first time also. 1 wrong is usually 780. Scores come out 5 am EST. I asked my mom if I could wake up that early and got denied hahahah.

Predicted:
770M, 730CR, 800W.
Composite 2300.

1. WashU/UNC Chapel Hill

Thank you! I’m so nervous. I want to get into the SSP summer program. Or even the BU summer term! crosses fingers

My first SAT. Gonna cross my fingers and hope for a 2200+. If not, definitely going to retake after December (taking the ACT then).

Predicted scores: 750+ Reading, 750+ Writing, 700ish for Math. Math is easily my worst part, and I know I made errors. :/

Predicted-
730CR 670M 740W (8-11 essay)
I feel strongly that my scores will be VERY close to these, but the essay is always difficult to predict. I will be very pleased with these scores. 2100 was my goal from day one…

I left none blank on math, but know for certain of 3 I missed, including one in the first 10 questions on a section -_- It had to do with properties of triangles, something I should be good at. I keep beating myself up over that one question.

I’m soooo excited for scores! If mine are lower than predicted, I might jump off a bridge or something. I’m hoping to at least increase reading 30 points from my current 700…

Number 1 Choice- Emory/NYU

^

Please don’t be stupid and jump off a bridge

^

agreed

Yah, jumping off bridges is painful and often more fatal than low SAT scores

Do they come out exactly at 2am pacific?

This is only my second time taking- first time I got 640 for math and 630 for writing and reading.
Predicted score - 650 CR, 700 M (it seemed easier this time…), 650 W, 8-9 Essay → Composite Score 2000 (I’d be awesome if I could break 2000, but I don’t think so…)

For the heck of it, #1 choice for college: NYU Hospitality (I’m getting these up, lol)

And, I’m only a junior, so I have enough time to keep getting them up. Just wondering what you guys think- what score should I get on the SAT to beat my 30 ACT score. Just wondering when I should consider submitting that instead of my SAT.

Apparently they were delayed a bit back in October, from what I heard.

Anyone here get the score ? Too frustrated to wait.

Nope, it’s ten minutes till 2am PST which is apparently when they’re going to release the scores. I’m spamming the f5 button right now

They are out if you click on sent scores (assuming you sent some before the results came out).

they’re up!
