November Math IIC curve ???

I think the curve's harsh, I thought I could pull a perfect score but it turns out to be 740 !!! How many questions did I miss ?

i bet you missed about 10... super harsh curve. I left 10 blank and got a 700 t.t I have to retake december.

I got a 740 also. I guessed pretty much from questions 30-50 after eliminating answer choices. I plugged answer choices in when applicable. I left one blank.

i got a 780, my friend got a 640 and thats like 30 something percentile, is that right??!?!!? what do you guys think the curve WAS on this beast, like 800 800 800 790 780...Should i take it again and go for the 800?

I got a 640 and I am SOO screwed ...27th percentile. But 790s on everything else...DEFINITELY retaking Math in December. Should I take Math I?

i know of 3 or 4 that i missed (and there are probably others) and got 800.

Never retake a 780. 20 points can be from something as small as marking a wrong answer on accident. Colleges know this and view scores within about 30 as the same.

I got a 780 too, my third 780 between IIC, Physics, and SAT1 Math. I have just come to accept that I will never get an 800, lol.

790, 87 percentile. up from 650 40 percentile in 06/2004. (I did 1/2 of the PR Book). I thought I had missed a lot more, I'm not even sure how I got this score.

yes curve unusually harsh i got a 760 (78 percentile) and I left 2 blank and made 4 mistakes.

i also got a 760, but there must be a mistake! i thought i left ~8-10 blank! i must have gotten the ones i answered right though!

i had a 720 and retook the iic, but i ended up being really sick and i only got 630, will this drop be a big deal? will they really care?

how do you know exactly what you got wrong sucharita?

Yea, I left 7 blank and got a 710. I was so sure I got all the other questions right though..

i only left two blank and got an 800... which is up from a 740 in june with zero studying.

God I got nervous already. I'l take it with Physics in December, hoping to breeze through them due to the well-known generous curves for both tests. It seems to me they made it much harsher this time... Ah well... ANyway, anybody knows good prepartation books?

I got an 800 also, left 3 blank and missed 3 (that I know of...)

Sorry for a stupid question, but do you get penalized for wrong answers -as you would in SAT I-?

ya I agree harpingchic i probably made more mistakes because i'm really careless... those were just the confirmed ones but i looked pretty closely and i couldnt find anymore

asbereth, the sat II's do indeed have "the guessing penalty"

I guessed practically every question. I left one blank. I got my little 740.
